Pets do not have to be scheduled for daycare, PetExec provides both options. These steps are to sign a pet into daycare when an appointment has not been scheduled:

You can sign a pet into daycare from the following places: 

1. From the PetExec menu under Daycare & Boarding-->Daycare Sign-In.
2. From anywhere you can access the Pet Menu-->Sign Into Daycare.
3. From the Dashboard (in the Combined In-House or Daycare sections) -->Daycare Sign-in button.

To sign a pet into daycare that has been SCHEDULED use the Scheduled Daycare Dashboard:

1. Use the "sign-in" button to sign a single pet into daycare.  You will then be redirected to the daycare sign in page for that pet.
2. Use the checkbox and the toggle all then the Sign-in Selected Pets button to sign in multiple pets at once.  If you sign in more than one pet this way, they will be signed into daycare with the details from their scheduled daycare reservation (ie daycare product, lunch, nap options etc).​​​

The following application preference found in the PetExec menu under Company Preferences-->Application Preference-->Daycare-->Automatically Select Package will automatically select the daycare package for the pets with active packages when signing in multiple pets at once. 

                         
  Once you pick your path, you will arrive in the Daycare Sign-In form.

1. Information is displayed from the Pet Record.
2. Select the sign in type from the drop down list.  This list will include the "daycare" products and services.
3. Select the appropriate package or "No Package".  If a customer does not have a daycare package, you will see "No Package" displayed here.
4. Select the lunch option from the drop down list.  This list will include the "food" products and services.  If you select a "food" product with an associated price, that price will be included at checkout.
5. Click button to Sign Pets In.
6. Available daycare packages, and package details are displayed at the bottom of the screen
7. Note history is displayed at the bottom of the screen as well.             

There is also a preference found in the PetExec menu under Company Preferences-->Application Preference-->Daycare-->Return to Daycare Sign-In which will control system navigation related to daycare sign in.
